The Curly Cousins present 30–55 minute scripted children's shows with rich harmonies, exotic instruments, interactive movement, audience participation and puppets. The dynamic performances are aimed at 2–10 year-olds, with an ability to engage parents and older siblings as well. They are perfect for mixed-age audiences at festivals, as well as targeted audiences at primary schools, preschools and day care centres.
The three Curly Cousin characters – Miss B, Coco and Sunshine – have identifying colours and characteristics which engage audiences in the theatrical and comedic aspects of the shows. Every performance includes fascinating facts presented as ‘Miss B Moments’, adding an educational content to the shows in a fun way.
The Curly Cousins currently have three children's shows in production, another in script development, and are able to produce a show to a given brief. See 'Themed Shows' below.

ROUND THE WORLD WITH THE CURLY COUSINS
THE CURLY COUSINS take you on a journey from their backyard out to
the world beyond. Using a range of acoustic instrumentation – from marimba to
melodica, guitar to cavaquinho, washboard to kazoosaphone – Miss B, Sunshine
and Coco introduce melodies and rhythms from a broad range of music traditions,
within a fun and familiar context. With a focus on original songs, the Curly
Cousins incorporate Brazilian, Indian, French, African, reggae and calypso influences. Come
on a magical Curly ride round the world and back again!
ALL ABOUT ME
This scripted, 50-minute show touches on issues all parents can relate too. Miss B goes square-eyed with computer games, Coco gets over-excited with too many red lollies, and Sunshine goes cloudy. See how the CURLY COUSINS deal with screen time, eating sweets and dealing with the grumps. With humour, uplifting music and audience interaction, this is a show for the whole family!
THE MOVE AND GROOVE SHOW
Promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and a positive engagement in the world around us, this show invites the audience to participate in different ways – to dance, shake, jump, fly, rock, swing, clap, sing. The full 55 minute show features 16 songs linked by dialogue and sound effects.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
This children's show follows a day in the life of The Curly Cousins as they explore the world around them, including a stint in the garden after breakfast and some outside fun before dinner. The full 55 minute show features 17 songs linked by dialogue and sound effects with audience participation and interactive movements.
AMAZING ANIMAL ADVENTURES
This children's show sees The Curly Cousins coming together to share stories of
their holidays. Sunshine visited a farm, Coco explored the jungle and
Miss B went camping in the bush. The full 55 minute show features 18
songs linked by dialogue and sound effects with audience participation,
interactive movements and a range of animal puppets.
THEMED SHOWS
With an extensive repertoire of children’s songs, The Curly Cousins are able to design shows to a given theme, such as gardening, healthy bodies, the environment, the world around us, Australian animals, seasonal celebrations.
